Podcast – Check

I have wanted Trexo to start a podcast for a long time. I had it in mind for 2025 (check that off the list) but I didn’t expect to launch it so soon. My colleague Sara really wanted to share conversations that matter. She wanted to help parents feel seen. She brought up the podcast as a way to do that.

The next thing I knew, we were working really hard and launching a podcast in about 3.5 weeks. And to be honest – it is pretty great. I am so proud of all of us.

The Mobility Mindset with Trexo Robotics

Trexo is hosting the podcast – but it is by no means about the Trexo. Yes, we will share some interesting info and insights about our Home & Plus devices. But our goal is to inspire, educate and entertain people in the disability community – especially parents.

Podcast Episode 1 – We Got This

With the first episode launching on February 4th, we had to move quickly. We got equipment, got advice on software, brushed up on video editing, built a list of guests to invite, prepared our marketing material and then realized we needed to decide who should be the first ever guest on our podcast.

Marc & Sara (both sales specialists with Trexo) are the hosts. It only made sense that Manmeet be our first guest.

Recording Day

January 27th, the day we recorded the podcast, Manmeet told me he would rather turn the mic on Marc & Sara and ask them to share their stories.

We kicked things off – with quite the blooper reel that we may share one day!

After Manmeet shared a little about his story and the origins of Trexo, he turned things over to Marc.

I don’t want to ruin it for you, so let me just say, I knew Marc’s story – but I never heard it like this. He talked about how it impacted him – as a human, and as a Dad.

It was real and moving and it made me realize we were on to something here.

We actally ran out of time and had to meet again the next day to record Sara’s story.

Recording Day 2

Once again, it’s fair to say we knew most of Sara’s story – but the way she opened up, the raw, open wounds and tears she shared – all while recording a podcast, on video for all to see. Wow.

Powerful, and also relatable. Neither Jasmeet (marketing coordinator) or I had experienced anything like what Marc & Sara had. But the bravery they displayed caused us both to open up and share some of our stories with them.

And that is exactly what they wanted. They want others to open up and share. To release it.

There really aren’t any words I can share that will do this episode justice and give it the space it deserves.

Watch it.  And if you are so inclined, rate it. If you like it, follow the show.

If you want to be a guest submit this form.

We need your support to help this podcast reach everyone that needs to hear honest, deeply personal stories of pain and resilience.

Learn more about the show, including upcoming guests and topics here. I will build this page out more soon – we are still confirming guests and get all the details sorted out.
