“Toto, I don’t think we’re in Kansas anymore”
Fans of The Wizard of Oz will recognize this famous line from Dorothy as she observes Oz for the first time.
My sentiments exactly Dorothy!
I am not quite sure what I was expecting when I first entered the Trexo office – but it wasn’t robotic legs walking on a treadmill, or watching people type away on their keyboard and seeing the robotic legs respond.
I knew Trexo builds mobility devices for children, but I just didn’t expect to see these little robotics legs with their cool lights.
A whole new world for me.
Before I get too far ahead of myself, let me pause and introduce myself, I am Jenn and I am new to the Trexo marketing department. While robots are new to me – helping children is not. I was drawn to Trexo because of the incredible work they do and the lives they are changing.
Leading the marketing department and growth initiatives is a challenge I am thrilled to tackle! With a focus on education and compassion, my job is to reach and connect with our audience and help families discover Trexo and the myriad of benefits associated with increased lower body mobility for children.
I’m now two weeks in and I realize what I saw and felt the first time I walked into the Trexo office, will be eclipsed many times over. As I get to know the team and learn about the work they do and the impact these devices have had on the kiddos that use them, I am blown away.
I have been asking the team what they like the most about Trexo or what they are most proud of. The sentiment is the same – it’s great to work for such an innovative company, it’s great to work for a company that appreciates the value each team member brings.
Dorothy got to see behind the curtains in Oz. We don’t have wizards, but we have robots, innovation and a whole lot of dedication. I’ll share what’s behind our curtains with you.
I’ll be sharing our thoughts, talking about the innovative processes, introducing partners, giving insight into new and exciting technological advances, I’ll share resources, tools and helpful information and most importantly I’ll highlight the stories of the lives impacted by these cool little robots. If you think these robots are great, you’ll be blown away by the children.
